A tray that drops out of the notch
Move the pointer to the top of the screen and the file tray slides down. Drop a lab report, a scanned fax or a screenshot. Drag the redacted copy out, in the same format, and into the AI.

Detection runs on your Mac. The list that maps placeholders back to real names lives in memory and is gone when you quit. There is no account, no cloud, no analytics and no crash reporter in the app.

Does it work in the browser or only in apps?
Both. ScrubZero watches ⌘V in the Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Grok and Antigravity desktop apps, and on those AI websites in Safari and Chrome.
What if it misses something?
It can. Detection lowers the risk; it does not remove it. That is why the review card shows the full text with every match marked before anything is pasted, and why you can add your own words to always hide in Settings.
How do the real names come back?
Each placeholder is numbered, like [NAME_1]. When you copy the AI's answer and paste it into another app, ScrubZero swaps the placeholders back using a map kept in memory on your Mac. Quit the app or clear the session and the map is gone.
Is it HIPAA compliant?
No software makes you compliant on its own, and we do not claim a certification. ScrubZero is a tool that helps keep identifiers out of what you send to an AI service. Your policies, your AI vendor's agreement and your own review still matter.
Does it slow down pasting?
Short pastes are checked in a fraction of a second. Long files and scanned PDFs take longer, and the tray shows progress while they are read.
What does the trial include?
Everything, for 14 days, without a card. After that, enter a key from a monthly or lifetime purchase. Both work on up to 3 Macs.
Which Macs are supported?
macOS 14 or later. The optional Apple Intelligence pass needs a Mac that supports Apple Intelligence.
